Mutual Telecom Services Inc. (MTS) has provided outstanding telecommunications systems implementation and maintenance to federal and commercial customers for over 20 years. Since our inception in 1987, MTS has grown from a regional services provider complementing our partners' capabilities to a one stop shop for telecommunications solutions on a global scale.
We have experienced exponential growth over the last 15 years beginning with our support of GTE on the Long Term Life Cycle Support (LTLCS) I and II contracts. The experience and industry reputation that we built while supporting industry partners such as GTE Federal Systems (now General Dynamics-Information Technology), Black Box, and others, prepared MTS to take the lead and prime multiple federal and commercial contracts beginning with our award of the BTS maintenance contract at the Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma, AZ in 1994. Since then, MTS has enjoyed significant growth and success as both a prime contractor and industry partner on contracts such as OMNIBUS (and follow on CTSS I & II), NETCENTS, TACSWACAA, SeaportE, GSA, Texas A&M University, and others. Today, MTS provides operations and maintenance services to over 40 federal and commercial sites worldwide including DoD installations, college campuses, and medical facilities (see "Who We Serve" for more information). Our success is a result of our highly experienced staff and commitment to serving each of our customers' needs. Our reputation as an industry leader is demonstrated by the fact that all four US Armed Services in Southwest Asia (SWA) have contracted MTS for a broad range of telecommunications services over the last decade, through which MTS has earned a reputation as the preeminent voice solutions partner in Theatre. Over the last 20+ years, MTS has accomplished a number of "firsts" and milestones which include the purchase of MTS by the Black Box Corporation. Headquartered in Lawrence, Pennsylvania, Black Box Network Services has the largest footprint in the industry, with 194 offices in 141 countries. The success of MTS is outlined by events such as these which are briefly described in our company timeline.
